We pride ourselves on tradition here at GFHS, and music is one of the strengths of our school.

The GFHS Band has been invited to the NWMENC Festival on numerous occasions, including 1967, 1969,1975,1979,1981,1987,2007, and 2009. The band was also invited to perform at the World’s Fair Expo in Spokane in 1974.

The GFHS Bands have also performed with many great guest conductors and world class performers, including The Dallas Brass and Deanna Swoboda (tuba), as well as many of our Great Falls Symphony musicians in soloist roles with the band accompanying. We are dedicated to helping our musicians be the best they can be, as well as showing them how important Music, Art, and Culture are in our Society.

This site is designed to help current band students and parents keep up with all the current events of the band program, as well as serving as a resource for music education in the city of Great Falls.
